At the Departure of the Soul from the Body
+ O Jesus, my Savior and God, Thou didst take away the offense of Adam and didst taste death, that Thou mightest free man therefrom, O Thou Who art merciful. Wherefore, we beseech Thee, O Merciful One, as Thou art good, grant rest in Thy holy courts unto [him / her ] that hath departed, O Thou Who alone art all-good and merciful.
+ O most pure one, we call thee the Bride of the invisible Father, the Mother of the Son Who was incarnate of thee by the Holy Spirit; and we set thee forth as intercessor for thy departed [servant / handmaiden]. For thee do we on earth have as our helper, and we magnify thee singing with love.
